Being human, we are drawn to the negatives. So I like to question my assumptions sometimes... If 8 years ago a time-traveler revealed to me that in 2026 we'd have a high-quality, fully repairable professional Linux laptop, and now a 100% repairable midrange smartphone with bootloader unlocking in the US...I'd be counting down the days to have the opportunity to daily-drive them! And that's not even including a new open source tool designed to run professional software on Linux: https://kernelchief.github.io/almalinux-creative-installer/ Apple products have served me very well for work the last 5 years, but I can't think of any good reason not to migrate during my next upgrade cycle.
