On the road to the #Generali #Cologne #Marathon, today I completed the first training week with an easy long #run from Zoutelande to Vlissingen and back after a few days off.
In the Netherlands, all runners greet each other. Can we please make this a worldwide thing and always give each other a high five? 😁
I always greet runners, but in Germany, too few greet back.

@my_millennium@nrw.social sad topic :( Here in the village almost 100 % greet (back). In the lowlands perhaps 50 % and in the city most think you are a weirdo if you greet them. In Norway it was even worse btw.

@my_millennium@nrw.social Admittedly I do not really care. Here in Düsseldorf, quite a few will greet/nod/wave early in the morning. Later ... nah. So what? 😊 All the best for Kölle - will be in a relay team there.
