@my_millennium@nrw.social sad topic :( Here in the village almost 100 % greet (back). In the lowlands perhaps 50 % and in the city most think you are a weirdo if you greet them.
In Norway it was even worse btw.

@panda@freiburg.social @my_millennium@nrw.social it's the same in the Netherlands. In the biggest cities the runners don't really greet. But in mid-sized cities and smaller they do. I live in a 200k city in NL and I always greet (and receive them back). I think it's a great habit.
