I'm about 90% sure this is the spot some neighborhood kids and I pronounced as our fort more than 40 years ago. The trees have grown a lot, and it was harder to get to the spot than I recall. (The other candidate tree was only feet away, but too close to the edge of the steep bank to be likely). The lighting was terrible, but I made do with the conditions nature handed me, along with a few judicious edits. #ThrowbackThursday #WhitePine #MeridenNH
