OK, I know some of you have #bots for #mastodon. I'm looking for one to make posts based on an #rss feed. I see lots of possibilities, but I want something simple and secure. Any recommendations? Experiences?

@archivist_Liz@digipres.club If you post an RSS feed address to the RSS-Parrot bot, the bot will create a Mastodon account on the bot's own instance, then the bot replies to you with a link to the new account's profile which you can follow. That account will post every new RSS feed item as a post on fedi. @birb@rss-parrot.net https://www.rte.ie/feeds/rss/?index=%2Fhistory%2F100/ (the full version of what I typed is in the image) Here's an account I made to see all posts from the Irish News newspaper RSS feed. @www.irishnews.com@rss-parrot.net

@archivist_Liz@digipres.club I've been using https://feedsin.space and it seems fine, not sure about security concerns. (EDIT hah and it seems to be gone! Oh dear)
