@whvholst@eupolicy.social @bert_hubert@eupolicy.social I have faith in my hammers ability to drive a nail if I hit it accurately, I have faith that sometimes AI can be useful if given a coherent query other times it will hallucinate and rive me to drinking, still sometimes it is a useful too, moreover, one that no other tool can substitute for.

@nanook @bert_hubert@eupolicy.social Asbestos is a fantastic material. Slavery made economic sense. And so on. Utilitarianism alone rarely makes for a good system of ethics.
