@Oleksii@social.linux.pizza @hugoposnic@mastodon.social @nura@social.treehouse.systems @phosh@social.phosh.mobi With automatic suspend on battery power enabled, internet notifications still don't wake the device, so it'd still be a major issue.

@opensourceopenmind@social.vivaldi.net Yes, that is all mostly "infrastructure building" at this point but it's good to have some first apps using this. Also on Qualcomm ppl usually don't suspend (due to phone calls not waking the device either so UP can reduce network polling already). @Oleksii@social.linux.pizza @hugoposnic@mastodon.social @nura@social.treehouse.systems @phosh@social.phosh.mobi

@opensourceopenmind@social.vivaldi.net @hugoposnic@mastodon.social @nura@social.treehouse.systems @phosh@social.phosh.mobi I have a different use case. In Finland 5G very common and it works well. All my internet to all my devices comes from hotspot. Just using it in two years it fully cover costs of FP5. Long story short I'm not interested in automatic suspend.
