Yes, that is all mostly "infrastructure building" at this point but it's good to have some first apps using this. Also on Qualcomm ppl usually don't suspend (due to phone calls not waking the device either so UP can reduce network polling already).

For me important to have UP for XMPP/Dino, ProtonMail maybe something else. I knew not every app is interested to implement UP and I don't know well different languages to make PRs. I'm thinking to create bare bone app only for notifications. A bit similar spirit to https://parrotmessenger.com/
