So, last night at a music festival I got chatting with a guy in his 30s, from Cardiff (Wales). I mentioned my family were originally from there (within about 5 miles). He asked where I grew up, because I'm clearly not Welsh. West London, in a shitty little town. Oh really? Where? I told him and he said his dad was from there, and without prompting named the housing estate I grew up on. Turns out I lived very near to and went to primary school with his Dad. After a slightly mind bending weekend this just topped it off.
