Nothing abnormal at the community college, at least by my own eye. Unless there was literally an armed national guard member, I probably wouldn’t know what to look for.
I am curious about one gentleman, so I may embarrass and introduce myself.

I talked to someone who says they were an election monitor, but a local one. For the record, I’m prioritizing everyone’s safety and comfort— tension is high enough these days— so I’m not going to hassle anyone or pry too much in that regard! I’ll take him at his word. He was very kind, wearing a high visibility vest and a hard hat with a logo I’m unfamiliar with but will google later if I remember. He says it has been a very pleasant day; no national guard or other federal presence so far.
