Trying to do actual work in #Linux tonight, as a bit of a newbie. But I'm hitting a brick wall, just opening a local index.html file. (This should be easy, right?) I've tried Firefox & elementary's "Web" so far. I can open the file from my USB stick, at /media/username/usb-stickname/ But then, the file somehow actually gets loaded from /run/user/1000/random-number/ (?!!?!!) ... which breaks all the links and images, because they're on my USB stick. Suggestions? Sublime Text opens it fine.
