Don’t private message me out of the blue to talk about your boner. I don’t know you, it’s creepy. It’s not just an annoyance, it makes me feel like absolute shit and can properly ruin my day. To be so disrespected, to have my time and peace valued so cheaply... makes me feel worthless tbh. It might feel low-stakes & cheeky to you - ‘where’s the harm in trying, eh?’ - but it is actually pretty harmful to me.

No pics but I’m fine to hear about boners and direct your boner DM’s to /dev/null to when i’m not in the mood for boners. Sincerely agree that unsolicited boner messages can make a person feel less than human and no one deserves them

As bad (if not worse maybe?) are the people who message trying to ask me out or tell me they want to date me without putting any level of effort, thought or care into their message at all. See above: it makes me feel worthless. Like ah, this man tells me he’s loved me from afar for years, but *even he* can’t summon the effort to do more than than just put his hand up to volunteer.
