I said goodbye to my favourite running shoes. Ultralight, surprisingly protective whilst they had bounce but it's time to let them loose. I think I first wore them at Whitley Bay #parkrun. It's been a different year with failing health but with many opportunities to celebrate. I had pre-booked three triathlons before I got my stage 4 #cancer diagnosis. Me and my running shoes have had a blast at Oxfordshire, Castle Hever and, yesterday Barcelona 🏊🚴🏃 I turned my ankle so hobbled over the line 🤣
