Is it really because #startrek90210 its woke as f&^k or is it because its just so cringe?
The show was super diverse yet someone they all acted like spoiled American teenagers.
I have not seen good writing on that franchise since the first two seasons of discovery.. and Im a big time #StarTrek fan. It descended into goof and could not come back..
Too much "Trouble with Tribbles" and not enough "Miri".

@sleepy62@social.vivaldi.net @georgetakei@universeodon.com the fact you're calling it startrek90210 shows your hand that you might have gone into it with preconceptions you weren't willing to let go of. I went into academy expecting it to be meh, and was pleasantly suprised. Not a perfect season of trek, but one of the better ones, especially when you meet the show where it is and for what it is and the demographic it was trying to capture
