I have four papers outstanding:
- One with elapsed notification deadline (lol)
- One with review "arriving in a few weeks" (as of last month, lol)
- One waiting for Springer typesetting, supposed to appear next week (lol)
- And finally, just went through typesetting, supposed to appear in June (perhaps)
Academic publishing is not for the impatient.

What saves me is that I asked an econ professor for advice after one paper was desk-rejected thrice, and he said: "Welcome to economics"
