For Wi-Fi consider buying a urtwn device, e.g. TP-Link TL-WN725N, Edimax EW-7811Un V2, ASUS USB-N10 Nano. Such devices are widely available for under 10 USD.

@nohamux@piaille.fr Also please post audiocfg output. Most common issue for new users at the moment is their default audio device being the HDMI port.
