🍎 Autumn foraging with OpenStreetMap: the Objects tool on Freemap now finds trees and shrubs by their kind — apple, pear, plum, walnut, hazel, blackthorn, dog rose, bilberry and some 70 more genera — and whole orchards, from apple orchards to olive groves. 🌳 genus=Malus or just species=Juglans regia, in any letter case — both are found and named. Orchards go by trees=*. Vienna shows what well-tagged trees look like 😉 👉 https://www.freemap.eu/#map=16/48.206136/16.514158&layers=X&tools=objects&objects=genus%3DMalus%3Bgenus%3DPyrus%3Bgenus%3DPrunus%2Cspecies%3DPrunus%20domestica%3Bgenus%3DPrunus%2Cspecies%3DPrunus%20spinosa%3Bgenus%3DRosa%2Cspecies%3DRosa%20canina%3Bgenus%3DJuglans%3Bgenus%3DCorylus #OpenStreetMap #foraging #trees
