It couldn't have been a better day to be outdoors. The usual lake in north GA for my foliage hunting is closed for reconstruction (they had to do it in this photogenic season). I'm glad I checked their site before taking off.
Instead, we went to a nearby city park. Spotless sky, and a big autumn harvest festival was going on on the other side. But we chose the quiet side.

@masayuki60@social.vivaldi.net I know Douglasville a bit - pass through quite often on my way to ATL, etc. Which lake in N GA do you frequent? Might be a nice day trip for Jen & me some time when they’re done working on it.
