@bicmay Paywall so I can't see what exactly they are proposing, but I am highly wary of this. Mental healthcare is a whole field of expertise that cannot adequately be taught as a tack on to an already overburdened profession. If the proposal is to teach PCPs how to reduce ableism, stop gaslighting patients with physical problems by calling them "just anxiety", and network with therapists for better coordination of care, then okay. But not to poorly overtake another field.
