Went to #Vancouver Canada this past weekend for the first time. Wow, the city is beautiful, tall and nestled amongst the trees. Unfortunately, the number of homeless people I saw milling about on Hastings St was really so depressing. I thought that I was somewhat inured to such sights after years walking through downtown San Francisco and Portland, but this was a whole new level of human suffering. Dozens and dozens of people. Block after block. Fuck.
