@maddad@mastodon.world First of all that’s no colour phase that exists in nature. And while lighter similar coloured fox may be selectively bred in captivity the photo is far too perfect and cute and posed. A bit of a dive into Canadian Marble foxes shows a bunch of similar and yet contradictory stories about this. Ask yourself have you ever seen photos of foxes like this pre-ai? And if not, why not? Why are suddenly similar photos of this supposed colour phase are everywhere?
