This year do I have any prepared garden beds, an irrigation system, or deer fencing for a tomato garden? No, no, and no. Since I have none of those things did I refrain from setting up my lights and seeding 28 tomato plants anyhow? Also no.

This is a zone or two colder than before, right? Here in Kansas, it's really not safe to put tomatoes outside until early to mid-May. The last week or so I cycle them out during the day and back in at night. But it's quite different than when we gardened in San Jose!
