@chockenberry@mastodon.social @simonharper@mastodon.social I don’t need a grocery app that also is a recipe app. I don’t need a grocery app that also allows me to make lists for any conceivable thing. Just food. I don’t need a grocery app with UI that’s bespoke and uses a cutsie hand drawn font. I need it to be clear, concise, compact, and quick to sync. Would also be great if it’s app icon didn’t suck.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social i totally get what you’re saying, for me it was the opposite i just wanted a recipe app and then i learned it can also do groceries. it felt crammed at first but it’s customizable enough that i got it to only show me what i need but yea im with you on not liking how many apps now try to do everything and then end up not doing a very good job of what you originally cared for
