I've seen some takes today blaming AI for the PHP bug - except it's an old bug! It predates AI and was in code written by humans literally over a decade ago as I understand it! AI just helped find it is all. But some folks acting like if it wasn't for AI this bug could have safely existed forever unfound harming no one. Which is bullshit. Some nation-state could have found it and exploited it the old-fashioned way! Heck, maybe they already did and no one caught them and they're mad about it now?
