@markwyner@mas.to @libreoffice@fosstodon.org I remember looking into OnlyOffice and they were hyping AI. If I run into a use case for it(and an AI with acceptable ethics, that's the hard part), the LibreOffice plugin architecture lets me add some AI. There's really no good reason to pollute the core application with it. Maybe some use cases could benefit from some tighter integration, but that's a reason to look at the plugin system, not throw a peripheral feature in alongside editing and formatting features. Hey, other plugins might benefit from that too! So that brief exploration of OO didn't even get as far as a download.
