Omg. The #Alberta energy rebate application process! 🤯 The list of financial institutions does not include Servus, Alberta's largest credit union, but does include several BC institutions. As always, cons making it as hard as possible for people to get their freebies, to make it look like they're helping the little guys when it's all just a bureaucratic circus. (I am a little nervous giving them my SIN through this process...) #abpoli

@WanderingHuman@cosocial.ca As well as your bank account information. This is a disguised privacy data grab. Not to mention all those people without access to computers, internet and bank accounts. What about seniors who find even Email a real struggle? I don't trust the UCP to sell lemonade from a wagon without screwing someone over.
