I really like when things are interoperable. like HTTP. It is amazing like magic when any server can talk to any client. More or less. Standardization is key. Sometimes standardization just DON'T work so nicely. Can someone explain to me why OMOP settled for standardizing on concepts like "Intraoperative ultrasonography of abdomen". It is a SNOMED code used only in the UK. Why standardize on a code only used in one country?
