From the heart of the hospital in northern Gaza, I'm having my hearing tested. The constant explosions have affected me deeply, and I'm afraid I'll wake up one day and lose all my hearing.
The doctors are trying their best to help me, but the situation is difficult and resources are limited.

@mohshbair there's a muscle that tightens the ear drum in order to protect your hearing in response to loud noises - trauma can very probably mess with that reflex, I imagine a war zone is exactly the sort of thing to screw it up :( If it's that then it should not be permanent at least. Fingers crossed for you x
