Why I don´t talk about helmets?
I lost too many wearing them.
On Car-Free Day, 22 September, Nicolò, a seven-year-old child, was killed by a motorist in Turin. He was riding in the bike lane, wearing his helmet, riding to school with his father.
A car driver killed him anyway.

@SheDrivesMobility@norden.social For whatever reason, people only discuss #helmets in the context of #cycling. Far more grave head injuries happen to car passengers and to #pedestrians. Nobody talks about them. Which clearly shows, that the whole debate is a red herring to avoid talking about real #mobilityTransition and safe #infrastructure for all.
