Like MUDs back in the day? I played a lot on a Social MUD/MOO (MUD, Object Oriented) that allowed for you to build your own games, commands, rooms and areas, etc. No hacking and fighting - unless it was in a game someone created IN the world. Someone built LORD (Legend of the Red Dragon) and you can play it daily! The Chatting Zone has been around for 30+ years and I still connect and lurk daily. Would love to see some new folks ... usually there are only 3-4 of us. You can connect with your favorite mud client @ thechattingzone.uk:8342 OR via GrapeVine and connect in browser: https://grapevine.haus/games/tcz/play Name there is dawgeth. Come say hey!
