I observed the very next proposition, an anti-LGBTQ “parents rights” one, does NOT provide a proper description, stating only that it would make changes to some rights. Which ones? Of course, I know the answer, but I suspect many voters will not, and may not know how to find out either.
All that is to say, it was an interesting case study of how ballots are written in the absence of regulation compelling precision and honesty. Makes me think, I dunno, maybe it should apply to all of them?

Okay, so I’m at city hall, and this part is mostly a shitpost but also the kind of hyperlocal shitpost y’all apparently read me for: If you’re voting at city hall today, you want to take the stairs to street level 1; not any of the lobbies or intermediary floors. For some reason they’re missing signage downstairs and I just went on a fun adventure with a half dozen of our neighbors trying to find the voting center.
