@rain@melonbread.xyz in other words, holding an 8bitdo ultimate controller means i have to hold my wrist in a sub-optimal position because my shoulders are wide and the grips don't "splay out" far enough. So I switched to xbox-style controllers to avoid that.
Similar to ergonomic issues you can see when using a mouse.

@quad@akko.quad.moe Yeah it is a shame there is not way for the public to demo these controllers somewhere before buying because it is hard to explain how it feels (or maybe I am just bad at using my words). The grip angle is a little less wide that a Xbox style controller but not like the 8-Bitdo Ultimate. though i can use almost any controller for extend play sessions and not have issue so I am not the best person to really speak on that kind of thing. Though before this Steam Controller my favorite controller to use over all was the 8-Bitdo Pro 3 (the orange controller in OP) and that one is of a even less common/popular style so what do i know.
