In-laws are ageing and have not the best eyesight and definitely not the best hearing. They watch TV with subtitles. Pointless though because HE refuses to buy a TV larger than 32" because... "anything bigger will get in the way of the lamp" There are 3 other lamps, 4 sconces and a main room light available, but this specific lamp cannot possibly be moved from directly next to the TV. Not even if it means they could actually read the subtitles on the TV.
