Re: HomeView pricing… The price is not what it costs. The price is what the market will bear. Basic economics. It doesn’t matter that the wall-mounted model costs less to make. The people who want that one are willing and able to pay more, so the price is higher. Simple as that. The requirement for pro installation acts as a price gate which already keeps out price-conscious buyers. That being the case, may as well charge more for the unit itself. In case we forgot, Apple is a business.
