@psoul@sfba.social Hey, really cool; I've been thinking about trying out Cachy because I've heard high praise for it.
Although, I have to admit I'm curious -- how come LXDE instead of LXQt? Is there no support for LXQt in the distro's repositories or do you just have a particular preference for LXDE?

@blaseblazenost@social.vivaldi.net the verbiage on the Desktop Environment page made it sound like LXDE was the most lightweight and the best option for older hardware. LXQt is supported and available from the installer. https://wiki.cachyos.org/installation/desktop_environments/ I didn’t dig much deeper than that. Would LXQt use even less ressources (I.e ram) ?
