@gnome@floss.social That's cool but apps still ask for the password to unlock the keyring. I hope in the future the keyring can be unlocked with the fingerprint at logon.

@myrtlears@mastodon.social @gnome@floss.social This will need pluming with things like TPM since the keyring is encrypted with your password, so a secret for the keyring needs to be stored in a secure enclave. We did discuss this in the past, but I think this still needs a bunch of work. (Wording might be imprecise since I'm not an expert on this.)
