@bermudianbrit@mastodon.online yes, its very strange. I never understood it. My eyes don't work. the rest pretty much does. However, aat the subway I often get people who I didn't ask trying to direct me to the elevators because I obviously can't use the stairs. I actually almost never use the elevators because I don't know where they are in many stations. @NatalyaD@disabled.social @guilevi@dragonscave.space @destranis@tweesecake.social @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @jscholes@dragonscave.space

@bermudianbrit@mastodon.online Exam centres seem to be especially hideously awful and it's very difficult to litigate in the UK cos they can cry health and safety and not have to get an expert to prove their point or that there are mitigations like sighted guiding someone. Burden then goes on disabled person to find and pay an expert to assess The Stairs TM which they can't easily reclaim costs for, risk legal financial costs and at best would be piddling damages. @guilevi@dragonscave.space @destranis@tweesecake.social @FreakyFwoof@universeodon.com @jscholes@dragonscave.space
