My dog pestering my mom and listening to mom talking to the dog. My dog is waiting for those important keywords such as treat or food.
Realizing that being afraid to take a chance only perpetuates monotonous misery and create sad what-ifs. One life to live.
Smooth jazz. It's not always been in my life, but have recently discovered this newfound love in listening to smooth, lite, jazz.

@forestfern@mastodon.social smooth jazz is the best! For me, it brings back happy memories in the jazz clubs in Chicago in the 90s. Such a comfort to the soul.

@forestfern@mastodon.social My cat Bella loves it when I snuggle her in my lap and put on smooth jazz or noir jazz. I agree, it's very soothing, especially when the day has rattled my nerves.
