Someone kind noticed that my trusty pocket-size NIV bible was falling apart and gave me a pocket-size ESV bible in its place. I have an ESV study bible but have never used one as my daily driver before. I actually have come to appreciate its precision, even if that does make reading clunky. When we're doing the Sunday morning bible study and come to a verse that we're unsure about, I'll ask people with different translations to read them and we'll talk about it. The ESV is usually helpful in these situations.
