@dirtycommo@anticapitalist.party I don't particularly like large forums, you end up with either a Nazi bar thing, or now an AI bar, or some creep who's butthurt about something innocent you said, & now there's a flame war that goes on for 3 generations. Fuck no.
I came up with BBS-scale (& we had bad flame wars!), & self-publishing on your Gopher or WWW or later "blog". Someone wants a piece of me, they know what ICB/IRC/fedi channel I'm on, but I'll just block their ass if they're annoying.

@dirtycommo@anticapitalist.party Sometimes I make the mistake of asking a forum, like I wanted some thoughts on Pascal or C compilers for Atari 8-bit, explicitly said "I already know about every kind of BASIC, that's not my question". All I got was infodumping about Fastbasic. SIGH. AND YET MY INVENTION OF MURDER ASSHOLES OVER THE INTERNET IS CONSIDERED UNETHICAL!!!1! So yeah, fedi's fine for now.
