@rain@melonbread.xyz I've been most worried about the angle of the grips.
I used to run 8bitdo Ultimate controllers, but they just hurt my wrists and stuff if I play for too long. So I switched to a Gamesir Cyclone 2 because I needed the wider xbox-style grips.
And also, fuck, I was hoping it was larger than other controllers, I find most controllers besides an xbox controller too small. Even for Xbox controllers I wish there were "XL" variants.

@rain@melonbread.xyz in other words, holding an 8bitdo ultimate controller means i have to hold my wrist in a sub-optimal position because my shoulders are wide and the grips don't "splay out" far enough. So I switched to xbox-style controllers to avoid that. Similar to ergonomic issues you can see when using a mouse.
