@IndyRichard I'm a reluctant SNP voter on the constituency ballot. Certain policies and members of theirs have got me holding my nose, rather than voting with any enthusiasm. But I plan to give my list vote to the Scottish Greens. The Scottish Greens are pro-independence, operate autonomously from the Green Party of England and Wales, and actually are more in-line with my personal politics in many regards. Certainly far more than the others.

  • @IndyRichard Realisitically, I would hope for the Scottish Greens to knock a seat off of Reform's tally in five of the regions. That would tie them both at 16 seats each. Labour would technically be the main opposition party. So even with 18 seats, we'd probably be stuck with Anas Sarwar declaring himself the First Minister in waiting. But a plus is you would boost the pro-independence majority to 80 seats out of 129. And as has been seen in the past, the SNP are able to work with the Greens.

@ShredderLivesOn I used to be a Labour activist. Labour have forgotten their socialist roots which hurts. I vote SNP as I believe they represent the best chance of a better future for Scotland, which I believe is poorly served through continued London rule. I like what I've heard from English Greens lead down south. Interesting that Plaid, the SNP, Sinn Fein and the Greens are all to the left of Labour.
