Doomsday doesn't have to mean the end of the world overnight. Climate change can look like failed harvests, disappearing water sources, extreme heat, floods, stronger storms, and communities struggling to recover. The climate crisis is already here. What we do today can shape how difficult tomorrow becomes. Protecting soil, water, forests, and biodiversity isn't just about nature. It's about protecting our future. #ClimateChange #ClimateAction #RegenerativeAgriculture #Biodiversity

  • @pacific06@mastodon.social like death: first the skin becomes a bit paler, you lose some weight, your feel less hungry and thirsty, your face displays an artifact...the final point of no return has been passed (well, actually since you have been born, Maybe: point of the last meaningful decision) and people still think: could have been worse.

@pacific06@mastodon.social Doomsday can also be the time when people are being judged for their actions and the guilty will finally suffer the consequences for their crimes and sins that they always kept avoiding.

  • @pacific06@mastodon.social We're not in a climate crisis, we're in a climate change. A crisis means that would change in a positive way, like a stop. As it will be worster and worster, it definitively NOT a crisis.

@pacific06@mastodon.social We need both mitigation and adaptation.

@pacific06@mastodon.social Yes, I hope the people are becoming extinct who believed that climate change is good because they'll be able to grow bananas outdoors in Alaska.
