@blingoali@mastodonapp.uk I recall a gang in 1980s Germany that liked them, too. Because the roof is easily made a different color than what a person at street level sees, they are harder for police helicopters to spot.

@Nazani@universeodon.com Wow! Good knowledge. Having driven a Hijet MPV for a few years, I wouldn't recommend one as a getaway car, unless the heist took place at the top of a hill and the police only had bicycles!
