@dgar@aus.social The overextended US #duopoly, created a massive vacuum of an 'excluded middle', where we all must dwell for most of our lives. Neglecting filling this root Behavioral Range for too long, collapses the extreme poles - like Republican vs Democrat - into virtual anarchy. It's worse with more power involved, like the US still controls.

@dgar@aus.social It’s happened before in the US when bigots hated Chinese laborers, when they hated Irish, Italian and Polish immigrants and continued with Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Somali refugees. There is a disease of racist bigotry in the US that is contagious. It seems to be spread by lies from those in wealth and power who con workers into hating those who have less than they do, by telling them that the immigrants are coming to take their jobs and harm their families and even pets.
