I ordered a 512 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max on Saturday. It was ordered around 10 AM Eastern. I just received an email saying it's on backorder. I won't receive it for approximately 4 weeks. At least that's what Rogers is currently saying. Oh well, nothing I can do but wait.

I know "inside of you, there are two wolves" is thoroughly silly, but, also, it pretty much completely describes the history and present of the United States. One wolf is slavery, Manifest Destiny, the Chinese Exclusion Act, the Trail of Tears, Jim Crow, ICE, "replacement theory". The other is the inscription on the Statue of Liberty, birthright citizenship, Composite Nation, Civil Disobedience, the melting pot, the Shining City on the Hill.
