I ordered a 512 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max on Saturday. It was ordered around 10 AM Eastern. I just received an email saying it's on backorder. I won't receive it for approximately 4 weeks. At least that's what Rogers is currently saying. Oh well, nothing I can do but wait.

@rowdyamerican@dragonscave.space I ordered the same thing threw T-Mobile yesterday, and mine says it should ship between sep 23 and sep 28 or 29. I can't remember. I haven't had anymore updates sense I placed the order yesterday. I wonder if mine will get pushed back too? that is just crazy!

@rowdyamerican@dragonscave.space Well I'm officially updated. So far, I'm glad to have done it. I tried the scene description using the on device model. It was impressively speedy and detailed. It detected both green lights on my hearing aid charger and described everything nearby.
