Really wish discord showed notifications in steamvr. I wrote a small program in rust to read my desktop notifications and show them in vr because xsoverlay and ovr toolkit cause lag for me (and I don't need them anyways)

I made a custom shader with baked emission! (model and texture by hiyu, music by tokyo machine)

FURAFFINITY'S WEBSITE AND TWITTER ARE COMPROMISED. Don't go to either of them until their Discord says otherwise

I'm so sorry to everyone I've offended by getting instantly distracted from a conversation we're in and tuning you out. You ARE important to me. ADHD is a bitch

@purpzie@mastodon.social ##4989353

for context, my partner and I are very long distance and VR is the main way we spend time together

I don't remember sending this exactly. Probably slipped out of consciousness at the end

AI really is ruining everything, huh. Someone saw the internet, an incredible beacon of community and information, and thought, "this would look better choking to death on generated slop"

@GrahamLester I am sure the search works (haven’t tried it though) but the issue is that if I see somebody with similar interests (who I often know from Twitter) and they follow say 100 people of which I would probably follow quite a few too, I can only see a handful of them (those on @econtwitter). That makes it really hard to follow interesting accounts…

Looks like Elon Musk’s wealth is currently dropping at a much faster rate than Twitter burning money…

@derpostillon Wer kennt Wen 😀

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989343

Is it just me or is it really hard to find people here on Mastodon due to its decentralised nature? That‘s my biggest pain point so far…

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989341

@econ_martens well, some sort of federated search would help?

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989340

@rmayemsinger @rbreich@masthead.social given who apparently at least gives Mastodon a look this could actually work!

Seit langer Zeit mal wieder Phillip Boa angeschmissen. Boaphenia ist tatsächlich immer noch so gut wie in 1993!

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989337

@lutz tut tut :-)

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989336

Is search just for your #mastodon instance or also for the whole #fediverse? Local search only makes little sense…

@henning@econtwitter.net ##4989335

Fast 100 Follower. Tröt!
