One of the most satisfying moments in software engineering? Deleting code. After completing our namespace migration, we removed around 10,000 lines of legacy infrastructure that no longer served a purpose. The result is a faster, cleaner, and simpler TelemetryDeck. ❤️ Read the engineering story: https://telemetrydeck.com/blog/namespace-conversion-finished/?source=fediverse

If you are on an escalator or moving walkway in an airport and you are standing on the left (or worse, in the middle), you are a bad person and you should feel bad about yourself. You are, by definition, in a place where many other people are in a giant fucking hurry. Come on. We live in a society, dickhead.

RE: https://convo.casa/@b/117418627863828348 it never rly occurred to me before, but now wondering if this is, in some way, a mitigating gesture (or charm) against mass shooters… in a country full of guns and traumatized / deranged military veterans

My dad asked me earlier today whether the UK's xenophobia and transphobia ever impacts me outside of vibes online and, like, the guy who attacked me and my partner last year is now wearing an ankle bracelet so like you tell me RE: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:kkf4naxqmweop7dv4l2iqqf5/post/3mxj6nnsysc27

I'm getting low on funds to keep going to hospital & need mutual aid donations help. Please see my bio for links to donate, if you're able to. Frauke, Mom's friend has helped alleviate our costs for replacing our washer machine & paying for one new expensive prescription upon Mom's upcoming discharge. That is a big financial burden off my back; close to $1500 🙏 My brother had our Saanich property tax bill payment delayed until December to relieve current financial stresse...
