Remember, folks: on #Peertube you can also download, not just stream. Thanks to @plzupgrademe@fedi.txw.ca , I'm downloading tonight's #Monsterdon watch party film, The Bat (1959, public domain), as I prefer to avoid the whole issue of possible streaming trouble at movie time, https://video.txw.ca/w/4sa5icoNFVdiv8f8oU9hdb More sources (inc. another Peertube, Archive, Wikiflix, Tubi, Youtube etc) in the collection: https://eggplant.place/collection/6ICD4rDFsYEIcTpY8UTpdk #PublicDomain #VincentPrice #Horror

THIS SUNDAY at 9pm Eastern (that's 1am Monday UTC) it's #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party! Come watch a goofy monster movie with a bunch of nerds! This week, our monthlong Vincent Price-fest continues with THE BAT (1959), a murder mystery involving money, madmen in costumes, and you guessed it, BATS. Also stars Agnes Moorehead, so it should be pretty good :D The flick's available free with ads over on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/351000/the-bat Or you can download from Archive.org over here: https://archive.org/details/The_Bat.mpeg Since it's public domain, even Wikipedia has a copy you can watch: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bat_(1959_film) See you this Sunday! #Movies #Cinema #Cinemastodon #Horror #Scifi #VincentPrice #Halloween

🦖MONSTERDON 🎞️ ⁉️ TRIVIA ON HAUNTED HILL 🏠🦇💀😱 House on Haunted Hill was a huge box office success and Alfred Hitchcock noticed. It inspired him to make his own low-budget horror film, Psycho (1960). William Castle, in turn, imitated Hitchcock's work in his later films, for example Homicidal (1961). #Monsterdon #HouseOnHauntedHill #VincentPrice #Halloween #HouseOnHauntedHill1959
